I am in the planning process of a community dialogue with two members of Chicago Cultural Alliance: Swedish American Museum and American Indian Center. The exciting aspect of the planning is the distinctive cultural backgrounds of the two communities, as well as their unique gardening approaches. During the first meeting, we had agreed to focus on urban adaptation, as well as culturally and personality distinct garden designs. We came to the conclusion that planting and harvesting berries are shared in both cultures. Do you know your berries? Try solving this riddle:
Lingonberries are to ______ what juneberries are to _______ what blackberries are to Americans.
