Youth Iftar

Tuesday evening, Arab American Family Services hosted a Uniting America iftar for local Bridgeview youth. Junior high and high school aged girls broke their fast together with the dishes they brought for the potluck meal. Beforehand, we had group discussions on topics they chose. Most of these girls have been to several Team Uniting America meetings and have spent their summer doing volunteer work, both with Uniting America and through other organizations. They are an energetic group that is eager to give back to their community!
