Progressive Illinois, one of the great new sources/blogs in the state, celebrates their one year anniversary this week.

PI has done a great job reporting on the immigrant community including covering ICIRR's voter registration and get out the vote efforts. They also provided excellent coverage of the 5th congressional primary event, including the beginnings of Rossana Pulido's candidacy.
