This past weekend the stories of U.S. citizens whose families are being destroyed by our broken immigration system were heard around the nation as the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and Congressman Luis V. Gutierrez’s launched their 17 city “Familias Unidas” Tour. On Friday over 1,000 people gathered in Trinity United Methodist Church in Providence, R.I. On Saturday over 3,000 people packed the Tabernaclo de Atlanta, Ga. with Civil Rights icon Congressman John Lewis. On Sunday over 3,000 people joined Congressmen Joe Baca and Gutierrez in the Casa del Rey Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
