Meeting the Need? English Language Learners and Immigrant Adult Learners in the Illinois Adult Education System
This report (2010) analyzes the current need for English and adult basic education programs among Illinois immigrants with the current capacity among programs funded by the Illinois Community College Board. The report also makes recommendations on how government, the private sector, and the community at large can improve how our state’s adult education system can meet the demand for English and ABE instruction.
