New Americans National Organizers Training

Chicago, Illinois * Sunday, July 8th – Saturday, July 14th
This 501(c)3 non-partisan training consists of two parts that build off of one another:
a COMMUNITY ORGANIZING training focused on basic long-range organizing skills and an ELECTORAL ORGANIZING training designed for people who are planning to run electoral or issue campaigns in 2012.


DETAILS for NATIONAL ORGANIZING TRAINING:
Start date: 4pm on Sunday, July 8th * End date: 5pm on Saturday, July 14th
Community Organizing trainings include: deep strategy for how to build campaigns, advanced training on relationship-building and making asks, story-telling, self-interest and creating coalitions, how to draw from history and demographics in your organizing.
Electoral Organizing trainings include: power-mapping, cutting turf, messaging with a focus on pivoting, volunteer recruitment and sustaining, fundraising for campaigns, and campaign plan development.
Attend FULL TRAINING FOR $400 (For ICIRR Members: $300)
