korean comm brochure side 2.jpg

The Immigrant Family Resource Program (IFRP) of ICIRR wants to commend our partners from Korean American Community Services for their outreach in the Latino community. KACS’ staff came out to Fiesta del Sol, a festival in the south side neighborhood of Pilsen, this past July and passed out 800 fliers! These included the services KACS offers through IFRP as well as other services they have available at their organization. Aside from serving the Korean community in the north side of Chicago, KACS also provides services to the Latino community and have Spanish speaking staff. In Fiscal Year 2009 KACS assisted over 3,000 families in accessing IDHS services, of these families over 300 were Spanish speaking. KACS’ numerous outreach activities, especially through Korean language media, ensure that families are aware of the resources that can help them reach self-sufficiency! Leer más…
