Yesterday, the Uniting America fellows joined the other 1000 people at Advocacy Day in Springfield. It was my first ever visit to Springfield and what a great day to go!  We started the day bright and early (6:00 am!) and hit the ground running once we arrived.

This past Saturday my host organization, P.A.S.O (West Suburban Action Project), hosted its first citizenship workshop of the New Year. The event was held at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Melrose Park. It was a great success.
