I am sharing pictures of the Dupage River Sweep at Hidden lakes Park in Bolingbrook I am so proud of all the community members, friends and families that came on a hot sunny day to clean the lakes where people go fishing during the summer. This event was from 9am -12pm I have to say all the volunteers made a great effort to come and clean on a hot May day. The Village of Bolingbrook provided canoes if any of the volunteers wanted to go on them and clean the river. Some of us went on the canoes and it was a fun activity for those who love the water and for those who enjoy paddling as well. I also had the most wonderful volunteers, Jaden and Julia are an example, he is 5 years old and she is  3 years old they where the biggest troupers of all my volunteers.  I was so happy we all came together for an important reason which is to make our environment better. I also want to thank the Village of Bolingbrook for making the river clean up a great event and most importantly our volunteers who did not mind the hot weather and came to the event.
